The frame that sent the FBI knocking on AARO's door
The first of eight frames the FBI handed to AARO in 2025. Dead center in the crosshairs: a small, dark, irregular shape. The professional operator who captured it, someone trained to tell aircraft, drones, birds and balloons apart, couldn't classify it. That's exactly why the image was passed up the chain instead of gathering dust in an internal archive. When a civilian investigative agency concludes it can't close a case on its own, that is a UAP in the fullest sense of the word.
The FBI doesn't call in outside help for nothing. What was it about this shape that made someone inside a serious institution decide it needed an investigation beyond their own walls?
