Three white lights, a pulsing hum, and a phone pulled out too late.
Two people described a black triangle flying low, making a pulsing hum, then vanishing before they could photograph it.
No. It disappeared behind the tree line before the phone was ready.
The report documents an interview in April 2025, but does not explain why they came forward then.
On a dark evening in the summer of 2011, a car approached an intersection near a house. One passenger noticed three lights in the sky. Someone got out, looked up, and saw a huge black triangle.
The object flew low over the houses, made a pulsing hum, and disappeared beyond the trees. One person asked a companion to take a picture, but the phone came out too late. Nearly 14 years later, the two described the encounter to the FBI. They could not identify the object, and they did not explain why they waited until then to contact the bureau.
In an interview with the FBI in April 2025, two U.S. military veterans described what they had seen. One was in a car with two other people. As they reached an intersection, one passenger spotted three lights. Someone got out of the car and saw a black, triangular object flying north.
A large white light, roughly the size of a car, sat at each of the triangle’s three corners. The lights gave off a soft glow and appeared to be set slightly into the corners. The witnesses heard a low hum that sounded like a series of pulses. They described the object as flying low over the ground, moving slowly and steadily.
One person asked a companion to take a picture. But by the time the companion pulled out the phone, the triangle had passed over the line of trees behind the houses and disappeared from view. The witnesses watched it for about 10 seconds. It left no trail in the sky.
One of them estimated that the triangle was enormous. He also thought it was flying very low. The two could not clearly recall what its sides or underside looked like, and they did not get a close look. By their account, trying to get the phone out distracted them just as they might have been able to see more.
The object’s identity and the source of the hum remain unknown. The witnesses could not photograph it, and the report offers no conventional explanation. It also does not explain why they contacted the FBI only in April 2025.
A huge triangle vanished behind the tree line. No video was captured.
