NUFORC, an acronym for the National UFO Reporting Center, is an American organization that receives reports of unidentified anomalous phenomena and publishes a database of these accounts. A report of an unidentified object describes what the eyewitness saw, but it does not, by itself, prove that it was an anomalous craft or of extraterrestrial origin.
On the Aliens website, you'll find articles based on reports recorded by NUFORC: lights, objects of various shapes, and sightings from different locations and time periods. Each report is an eyewitness account that must be examined carefully; sometimes there isn't enough information to determine what was seen in the sky.

Common questions about NUFORC
What is NUFORC?
NUFORC is short for the National UFO Reporting Center, an American organization that receives and publishes reports of sightings of unidentified aerial objects and phenomena. It is a source of eyewitness accounts, not a body that confirms every report describes a non-human UFO.
Is NUFORC a government agency?
No. NUFORC is not a U.S. government agency; it is an independent center for collecting sighting reports.
Does a report appearing in NUFORC prove that a UFO was sighted?
No. An entry in the database indicates that a report was submitted, but it is not an independent verification of the description or the object's identity. Without additional information, it may not be possible to determine what was seen.
What information can be found in the NUFORC database?
The database includes eyewitness accounts from individuals who reported sightings, including descriptions of the object's appearance, its movement, and the location of the sighting. The level of detail and available information may vary from report to report.
What NUFORC sightings are featured on the Aliens website?
On this page, you'll find articles about reports recorded by NUFORC, including descriptions of lights and triangular, circular, or elongated objects. The articles present the eyewitness accounts and do not claim that they have been proven.
