Rendlesham Forest UFO: the 1980 mystery

This documentary examines the Rendlesham Forest UFO incident, reported near US air bases in England in December 1980. The case became one of Britain’s most documented UFO incidents after American airmen described lights in the forest.

The film follows the reported events over three nights, including Lieutenant Colonel Charles Halt’s 18-minute recording of his investigation. It also covers the official “Unexplained Lights” memo sent to the British Ministry of Defence, reported marks in the frozen ground, and radiation readings. The documentary gives the skeptical case attention too, including the lighthouse, a fireball and stars as possible explanations. Later witness accounts are presented as claims, not established fact.
