A brief clip shows a single light above the tree line in Montvale, Virginia. The person who posted it says it was filmed on August 1, 2024, at 9:15 p.m., and that they and their partner had encountered it repeatedly that summer.
Voices in the clip try to identify the light and wonder whether it is a drone. The image does not provide enough detail to judge the object’s distance or motion, so its identity cannot be established from the footage. It could be a star or an aircraft.
