Two reports of unidentified phenomena were logged in Idaho between October 24 and 28. One described a triangular object with three lights over Boise; the Ririe report remains under review.
At around 8 p.m. on October 28, a triangular object with three lights was reported over Boise, Idaho’s capital. It was moving southeast and was estimated to be about 46 meters in size.
Four days earlier, on October 24, a witness in a vehicle on Hayes Road in Ririe, in eastern Idaho, spotted a large, bright object moving at high speed. That report is still under review.
Both reports were published by the National UFO Reporting Center, a Washington state-registered organization that publishes reports submitted by the public. In each case, a single object was described as flying at an altitude of less than 365 meters, radio station 95.7 KEZJ reported in early November.
The station did not say who was reviewing the Ririe report or what was being examined. It also did not say whether the Boise report had been investigated or whether an explanation had been found.
