Former Zimbabwe Student Says He Saw a Saucer and Three Beings
In an interview with BroBible, Paul Treme recounted the 1994 sighting. No physical evidence of an alien visit has been presented.

Paul Treme, then an 11-year-old student at Ariel School in Zimbabwe, says he saw a silver saucer and three beings in a nearby field in 1994. More than 30 years later, he still stands by his account. Sixty-two children reported similar sightings, but there is no physical evidence, and one former student says the story was made up.
During morning recess, children ran toward Paul Treme in the schoolyard at Ariel School in Ruwa, Zimbabwe. Treme, then 11, was one of the school’s older students and a prefect, so he went to see for himself. About a football field away, he says, stood a saucer that looked like a disc. Three slender beings stood beside it, moving so smoothly they seemed almost to float.
What He Remembers
“What I remember is that they had some kind of black suit, and they had big eyes, very big eyes,” Treme told Georges St-Pierre, a former Ultimate Fighting Championship champion, in an interview published by BroBible.
According to Treme, the beings boarded the craft using what looked like a step or a field of energy. Then it took off. “It was like a flash of light, and the thing just disappeared from here immediately,” he said.
Why He Stayed Silent
After the incident, teachers showed the children frightening videos about alien abductions. Treme says he was too frightened to talk about what he had seen for years. Many children, including his younger sister, said they received telepathic warnings about how humans treat Earth and the dangers of technology.
Harvard psychiatrist John Mack interviewed several of the students in the years that followed, and many continued to stand by their accounts. One child told him the beings had warned them about “something that was going to happen.”
In 2016, his sister Emily presented drawings that she said represented messages she had received that day.
What Remains Unproven
There is no physical evidence that aliens visited the school. It is not known whether an official investigation was conducted or whether any evidence was examined. At least one former student says the entire story was made up. Treme remains convinced otherwise. “Something definitely happened that day,” he said. “I was there. I saw something happen.”
