The “UFO hit by a Hellfire missile” is a label for an infrared video that appears to show a missile striking a glowing orb. The video was first shown publicly at a House of Representatives subcommittee hearing on September 9, 2025. People searching Google for UFOs may also encounter the unpunctuated spelling “UFOs.”
The video appears to show the missile making contact with the object, but neither the video nor the details of the incident have been fully authenticated publicly.
According to Congressman Erik Burlison, it was recorded off the coast of Yemen. The claim has not been independently verified publicly.
It appears to continue on its path. An NBC analysis reported distortion and fragments, but no clear destruction.
No. No official determination of its nature or origin has been released, and the video remains open to interpretation.
