Lights over Chicago: storm footage from a plane

A Reddit poster says they filmed a storm from a plane departing Chicago. They did not notice any lights while filming, but later saw two flashing points of light in the recording. The poster adds that a passenger sitting nearby filmed them too.

Two faint points of light are visible in the dark frame, but their source cannot be identified. The clip offers no explanation for the lights, so what they were remains unknown.
