A Flashing Green Object Descended Silently Into the River Tay
The video was published by the Scottish newspaper The Courier, whose report includes no response from aviation authorities, police or the military.

Aaron O’Hare, a Fife resident, filmed a flashing green object over the River Tay for about six minutes before it descended into the water without a sound. He said it wasn’t a light or a drone. There is no official explanation for the sighting.
Shortly after 6 p.m. on October 28, 33-year-old Aaron O’Hare saw a bright green light flashing above the River Tay. He was at home in Newport-on-Tay, a town in Fife on the river’s north bank, across from Dundee. He was washing dishes in the kitchen when he ran outside with his phone and filmed it.
O’Hare said the object moved back and forth over the river for about six minutes. It then rose vertically, turned right, slowed down and descended into the water. There was no splash and no sound.
He estimated that the object was about 15 meters above the oil facilities, near the Tay Bridge. At first, he thought it was a helicopter, but he was certain it was not a light, a drone or any human-made craft. O’Hare said he had no interest in UFOs and had not given them much thought before.
The Courier, which published the video, based its report on O’Hare’s account and footage. It offered no explanation for the sighting and included no response from aviation authorities, police or the military.
