A Black Triangle Over New Brunswick’s Forests

The Sighting At 1:14 a.m. on June 10, 2026, a resident of rural Sackville Parish, New Brunswick, witnessed a black triangular object, roughly 40 feet on each side, cross the forest treeline a few dozen meters away. The witness described it as a tailless delta wing, with a matte finish that prevented light from reflecting off it. The object passed directly from east to west, remaining in view for 2–4 seconds, with no navigation lights of any kind, including running lights or emergency lights.

What Did It Sound Like? The first sound came before the object appeared: a strong rush of air, a “whoosh” as air swept over its body, suggesting high speed below the speed of sound. After that brief moment, there was no engine noise, roar, or electrical sound. No gusts of wind or sound of displaced air were detected at ground level either, suggesting a fixed-wing configuration that did not displace significant amounts of air.

Weather Conditions and Airspace Context The sky was clear, with visibility of 9–15 miles, no clouds, and surface winds of 4–5 knots. At the time, three military training areas (Class F) and the “Canso High-Power Rocket Zone” were active in the region’s east-west airspace, suggesting possible military activity.

Preliminary Analysis The report is consistent with a stealth-capable unmanned aircraft, likely a UCAV (Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle) with a triangular wing, designed for low-altitude maneuvering while remaining concealed from view. Its brief, straight path, combined with the lack of engine cues, supports the possibility that it was powered by an electric motor or an internal engine used only for minimal maneuvering, or even that it was propelled by airflow, like a glider.

Why Is This Interesting? The report describes an object that appeared technologically advanced, elusive, and fast, leaving none of the conventional traces of noise or light. If it was a military craft, it would demonstrate the progress made by countries at the forefront of the aerospace industry. If it was not military, it raises questions about a flight configuration that would be invisible.

Note: This is an eyewitness report, with no video footage or additional measurements, so any conclusions should be treated with caution.
