Eyewitness Account in Punta Hermosa, Peru
At 3:45 a.m. on July 9, 2026, a local resident reported a strange sighting on the coast of Punta Hermosa, in Peru’s Lima Province. According to the account, the witness saw a white, oval-shaped object estimated to be about 25 meters tall. It was approximately 20 meters away and 45 degrees above the horizon, moving east (90 degrees).
The object appeared to hover above a neighbor’s roof, its light flashing at regular intervals. The witness also reported a sound like a giant fly buzzing, adding to the strangeness of the scene. For about two minutes, the object stayed in place, rotating on its axis before vanishing in “the blink of an eye”—a description that suggested it had passed through a portal or suddenly disappeared.
The report was logged in the NUFORC database under case number 199289. Although several details—the flashing light, buzzing sound and sudden disappearance—are reminiscent of advanced drones, the possibility of an unexplained sighting cannot be ruled out. There is no additional testimony or video to verify the event, so it remains an unconfirmed eyewitness report.
The incident points to the need for continuous monitoring and study of unexplained aerial phenomena, especially in coastal areas where lighting and sound conditions can affect a witness’s perception. If further evidence emerges, it may be possible to assess whether the object was advanced human technology or a natural phenomenon not yet understood.
