Rectangular Object With Changing Lights Over Morros, São Paulo

What Happened At 8 p.m. local time on June 11, 2026, a resident of Morros, in São Paulo state, witnessed an unusual sight. According to the account, a gray, rectangular object appeared high in the sky. Its shape was distinct, with a straight line of light along its back. Four colors—blue, white, red, and finally green—flashed on and off in rapid succession. The witness described it as a “rectangular object with lights,” not a traditional spacecraft.

Viewing Conditions The sky was clear, with no clouds, and light pollution was low, making it easier to pick out small details. The witness said the object was seen from the ground at an elevation angle of about 65 degrees and moved east. They estimated that it was moving relatively slowly, even as its lights flashed rapidly, creating an impression of dynamic movement despite the object's slow pace.

Why It’s Interesting The report focuses on a geometric shape—a rectangle—and changing lights, features reminiscent of known aircraft, such as drones or experimental vehicles equipped with LED indicator systems. However, the witness said the object was very high, higher than commercial aircraft typically fly, and that its lights changed colors in an orderly pattern, which does not readily fit with existing technologies. The account also describes “lost time”—a sense that time disappeared or passed unusually quickly, a phenomenon that sometimes appears in reports of unidentified sightings.

Possible Explanations The report has not been verified, and there are no other accounts from the same place or time. The object may have been an experimental aircraft operated by the Brazilian military, or part of a local technology festival featuring special lighting. But the lack of official information and the difficulty of identifying the object conclusively leave the incident among unexplained sightings.

Summary The story of the rectangular object with colored lights illustrates the complexity of unidentified sightings: it combines familiar technological features with phenomena that seem out of the ordinary. For now, without additional evidence, it remains an open case, inviting further investigation by experts in aeronautics and airspace monitoring.
