Glowing White Orb Spotted Miles Above Berlin, Connecticut

What Happened At 9:32 p.m. on June 9, 2026, an amateur stargazer in Berlin, Connecticut, spotted a bright light that was neither a star nor a planet. In the observer’s account, it was pearl-white and perfectly spherical, roughly twice the size of a commercial airliner. Watching from the ground, the observer estimated that the orb was about 10,000 feet (roughly 3 kilometers) high and 54 degrees above the horizon.

Movement and Halo The orb moved at an estimated 300 miles per hour (about 480 kilometers per hour), first east to west, then back again, with no fixed pattern. A fine, misty halo formed around it, glowing in shifting colors and dotted with flashes. The effect looked more like a natural light display than a conventional aircraft. The observer said the orb left a “trail” of light and appeared to release small “objects” that looked like glitter, a phenomenon with no immediate explanation.

Duration and Visual Evidence The observer watched the orb for 34 minutes, recording the display in several videos and photographs. They described a spectacular sight, with rhythmic color changes and a flickering light, and said it made them think they were witnessing something extraordinary.

Similar Reports Glowing white orbs with halos sometimes appear in UAP reports, though most are attributed to atmospheric phenomena such as ground-based lasers, aircraft contrails, or effects from satellite networks. The observer’s account of erratic movement, a colorful halo, and a trail of light adds complexity to this case.

Why It’s Interesting The report describes several unusual features: an enormous orb, fast and unpredictable movement, and a halo of unclear origin. The observer also recorded the display, making technical analysis of the files possible. Although the report has not been verified, it raises further questions about aerial phenomena in U.S. airspace.

Summary The report highlights the need for more precise data, including exact coordinates, speed measurements, and high-quality recordings, so experts in aeronautics and physics can analyze the phenomenon. For now, the case remains an open mystery in the sky.
