The story
A visitor in white
Chapter 1
A visitor in white
A child once woke up and saw someone come into the room. Very tall and thin, pure white, with long, long hair. Not a Grey, not a mantis. Almost human.
Chapter 2
A projection, not a portrait
What you meet may be a projection, a picture they send ahead. It isn't necessarily how they look in their own reality. Their true face stays a mystery.
Chapter 3
Just checking in
Overseers have jobs in Earth's big change, as humans and hybrids slowly become one people. This one was checking in. It read the child's energy and steadied any stray notes.
Chapter 4
Nurse, teacher, caretaker
Hybrid children grow up in groups, each with its own watcher. The watcher is "the overseer, the nurse, the teacher, the caretaker", all in one. Groups meet on field trips.
